Is Tudor Releasing a Turquoise Black Bay Chrono?

Is Tudor Releasing a Turquoise Black Bay Chrono?

Taiwanese singer-songwriter Jay Chou—who you may know as the Tudor ambassador behind last year’s Black Bay Chrono ‘Pink’—has sparked speculation with his latest Instagram post. The photos show Chou wearing what appears to be a Black Bay Chrono with a turquoise (dare I say Tiffany) dial.

JAN 15 UPDATE: David Beckham has now posted a close-up of what appears to be the same watch, tagging his football team Inter Miami. Inter Miami has an alternate jersey color that could be described as turquoise; it's close to the Miami Dolphin's 'Aqua' color. Some theorize that we have two watches here: one closer to turquoise and the other closer to mint. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.

The watch in question features Tudor’s five-link bracelet, which debuted on numerous Black Bay models at Watches and Wonders 2023. This bracelet was previously paired with the Black Bay Chrono ‘Pink,’ a watch Tudor confirmed was “originally made together with Jay Chou and [later] released to the public.”

The Tudor Black Bay Chrono in Pink, Blue, and (rendered) Turquoise

Following the surprise releases of last year’s Black Bay Chrono Pink and Black Bay Chrono Bluereleased outside of Watches and Wonders—watch enthusiasts are now buzzing about the possibility of another colorful Tudor chrono. (Speaking of which, fingers crossed for a new Heritage Chrono this year!)

Will this turquoise-dialed chronograph remain a one-off piece for Jay Chou, or might it follow the ‘Pink’ and see a wider release? Share your thoughts in the comments below, and subscribe to our email list to never miss a blog.
