The 5 Luxury Cars Coming Out In 2016 That You Will Want To Sport Your Rolex In
I don’t know if you are like me, but I have a couple Rolexes on my Christmas list this year (and of course some Everest Bands). But if I get one of those watches, I’m going to have to step up my driving game too. So you’re going to have to look what sporty new models are coming out this year. Or you could just keep reading and I’ll give you the low-down of what cars you need in 2016.
So after you put on your new Rolex you might want to go to the dealership and find a sexy new ride, such as the new Audi TT. Audi hasn’t come out with a new model of the TT in a few years now, and this updated version is pretty sweet. They stuck with a 4-cylinder engine but turbocharged it to give it some extra zip. It also comes standard with a dual-clutch automatic transmission, all-wheel drive and a highly modernized interior. Now if that doesn’t turn some heads, I don’t know what will. If you are looking to pull the trigger on this tiny beast, it’s priced at $43,900 for a coupe or $47,400 for a roadster.
The Audi TT only has two seats, so if you are looking to take the kids on a ride down the countryside, take a look at the brand new Lexus GS F. It’s a sedan that has some serious kick to it. The GS F features a 5.0-liter V8 with 467 hp, 389 lb-ft of torque and stylistic upgrades designed to distinguish the performance model from the standard GS. In other words, it can get you where you need to go…fast. Lexus hasn’t announced the pricing for this model yet, but expect it to be in the $70,000 range.
Personally, I’ve never been a huge fan of Jaguars. They just never caught my eye, but this new Jaguar XE is something that has everyone talking. It is also a new model of luxury-sport-sedan that will be competing with the two previous mentioned cars. It comes with two options of engines, one is a 180-hp 2.0-liter turbodiesel 4-cylinder that aims to be more fuel efficient. The other is more of a work horse with a 340-hp 3.0-liter supercharged V6. It also has the best technology in the interior, including a standard 8-inch touchscreen with a whole bunch of sweet control options. Pricing hasn’t been released for the XE, but if they stay on par with their other rides, the price tag should be close to $40,000.
Getting back to the Coupe options, we have a revamped Infiniti Q60, formerly known as the G37. This one is still in production, and should be available sometime in the next 9 months it seems. It looks like the engine will be close to the same as the Infinite Q50 with a 328-hp 3.7-liter V6. It will have updated technology though, so it will be the best of both worlds. Speculations on pricing are around the $40,000-$48,000 range.
If all these are a little on the pricier side, there is a Buick Cascada that will turn more heads than you think. You know that whole Buick commercial where they are surprised that Buick is making sexy cars? Well that will happen in real life if you buy this model. It’s a convertible that sports a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that turns out a hefty 200 hp. Best part of this car that gets my nerd blood going? Built-in wifi that would make me never leave this car. The pricing should turn out to be between $30,000 and $35,000.
So whether you are looking on the higher end side, or if you need to stick to a budget, there’s a luxury car for you. With that said, depending on what color car you grab, you can match with an amazing Everest Band that will you become the talk of the town…or office.
