Rolex 2024 Release Recap: Live from Geneva
Rolex just opened the shutters of their display cases at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024. We had a front-row seat. Here's everything we know so far -- images and details will be updated as we obtain them -- just refresh this article for new info.
GMT-Master II Gray and Black w/ Green Hand
Well, it happened. Rolex released a steel GMT-Master II with the same gray-and-black bezel insert we saw on last year's 'GRNR' GMT-Master II. The new model has a black dial and, much to our delight, a green 24 hour hand. Despite the rumors, the steel red-and-blue 'Pepsi' GMT-Master II is still in the catalog. It’s here in the case.
Platinum 1908 w/ Ice Blue Guilloche Dial
As we posited from the teaser video, we have a new Rolex 1908: now with an ice blue guilloche dial and a 950 platinum case. This model retains the sapphire exhibition caseback present on all other 1908 models. The rice grain pattern is absolutely stunning in person. The platinum Rolex 1908 retails for $30,900.
Yellow Gold Deepsea w/ Blue Dial and Bezel ‘Bluesy’
Nobody saw this one coming. Rolex just released the first-ever yellow gold Deepsea, fit with a blue dial and bezel a la 'Bluesy' Submariner. I'm confident that this is the heaviest watch in their catalog. It seems that the Yacht-Master II is no longer; this gold-and-blue beast is its spiritual successor. The yellow gold Rolex Deepsea retails for $52,100.
Everose Day-Date 40mm w Slate Gray Ombré dial (Oscars Watch)
We already saw this one. Rolex quietly unveiled this model on March 11th via a promotion video for the Oscars. Today, we see it enter the Day-Date collection as a catalog item: Everose construction, slate gray ombré dial, 40mm.
Gold Sky-Dwellers on Jubilee
We finally have precious metal Sky-Dwellers on Jubilee. For now, it's available in Everose with a slate gray dial (pictured above) and yellow gold with a white dial. I'd be shocked if it weren't available in more configurations down the line.

In addition to the Everose "Oscars Watch", Rolex unveiled a handful of new Day-Dates in various sizes and colors. We have a new Day-Date 36 in yellow gold with a white lacquer Roman numeral dial. We also got a blue-green dial for the Day-Date 36mm: fit with a diamond bezel and indices. The hue seems to be the same as last year's Sky-Dweller. Finally, we have a 40mm white gold Day-Date 40 with a mother-of-pearl dial.
