A Tribute to Customizing your Rolex Sports Models
Previously, we took a gander at some predictions for new models for the upcoming watch shows which we explore more here. As we possibly wave goodbye to new productions to a few of our favorite Rolex sports models, we’re going to share a fun style guide tribute! Check out how you can easily customize your Rolex sports model.
Rolex Milgauss
In 2020, we predicted we’d see some changes to the Milgauss coming in 2021, and we’re still expecting something new this year. But, you can easily change your unique Rolex sports model with a brand new Swiss-Made Everest watch band. Some of our favorite looks play with the dial’s gorgeous hues. A blue rubber is the perfect option for really making the dial pop.

Or, you can strap up with our brilliant orange rubber watch strap to catch your attention to the Milgauss’s orange hand.
So, despite jumping on our toes to try to see what changes Rolex may bring to the Milgauss line, have a little fun with your classic timepiece!
Rolex Explorer II 42mm
Next up, we’re also anticipating changes to the Rolex Explorer II 42mm since its coming up on its 50th birthday. But, we’re still celebrating the release of Everest’s Swiss-Made black and orange rubber watch bands for this model. As one of our newer products, its flying off our shelves and onto the #watchfam’s wrists. Talk about pop of color!
Orange seems to be the trending favorite this year for most models, but you can see why it’s the perfect color for the post 2011 Rolex Explorer II 42mm. The polar dial is gorgeous, and customizing your Rolex with Everest really brightens and lightens your wrist. But if you’re not quite ready for sunshine and daisies this spring, the black rubber is always a classic pair to your black dial Rolex Explorer II. Which option are you opting for this spring of 2021?
Rolex Oyster Perpetual
Are we really ready to possibly say goodbye to one of Rolex’s most fun line ups (the candy colored OP line)? Heck no, we love expressing ourselves with color here at Everest. We’re sad to see this colorful Rolex line possibly go by the wayside in 2021 or 2022, and we explore the reasons more here. Everest watch bands don’t currently have a home on this newer release just yet, but that doesn’t mean you can’t sweeten up your pre 2020 Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39mm with a Swiss-made leather or rubber watch band. Some of our favorite combinations can really change the look of your Rolex, and as an added bonus, it’s a great way to preserve your Rolex bracelet. For those asking, yes, we are currently working on custom straps for the new 2020 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Line. Keep your eyes peeled for a hopeful summer release!
Rolex Submariner Hulk
The final model we’re going to highlight is easily a fan favorite, the Rolex Submariner Hulk. The Everest black rubber watch band is highly popular, but with this model, you can really have some fun. Whether you pair it with a complementing green rubber watch band or play on the contrasting hues of the model by strapping on a gray, the choice is yours.

Or, you can choose to strap up with an Italian vegetable tanned leather watch strap like the one below, a beautiful chestnut color.
Although we may see changes or say goodbye to some of our favorite Rolex sports models this year, that doesn’t mean you have to wait around. You can change up your wrist for any season or event or just for kicks and giggles with Everest watch bands. Need a bit more inspiration?
