Here are two examples of Rolex bracelets. As you can see, there is a link count on both the 6 and 12 o'clock side. PLEASE NOTE - don't count any permanent links attached on the buckle.

Q: I have puirchased a band from you with the deployant buckle and am thinking about a different band for a second of my Rolexs. I bought the strap for equavalent of six (6) X six (6) links. How do I select a band with the regular buckle to make sure it fits my wrist. I will be putting it on a Submariner. The watch is only one year old. I just worry about the length of straps being long enough.

A: From the spring bar (this is how we measure a strap properly) it is 120mm on the tongue side and 77mm on the buckle side. We offer the strap with nine fitment holes so you should be able to fit it perfectly to your wrist.
