is strap is a good option. If you are concerned about the integrity of the springbar attachmet, I noticed that there appears to be a harder material moulded in that forms the inner lug mating surface. Everest should feature this in their description as they may be selling themselves short. I have a GMT1 that the links are not configured as well as they could be to fit my wrist. I have 5 links on one side 6 on the other but the links are pinned into the clasp at the shortest possible setting, It looks like the best fit for me based on my Daytona is 4 links at 6 and 6 links at 12. Is this possible for the GMT?? The GMT is circa 1997 and the Daytona is 2017 so the bracelets for Rolex have improved significantly over that time.
You have accidentally purchased the wrong strap. The one you should buy is the version for a 41mm Submariner, the one you purchased is the 40mm version. The lug with is 1mm different and will cause that gap. Just reach out the customer service team at info@everestbands.com and they will help you solve your issue.
